    Description

Measures 8-17/32" X 11-1/8", 24 pp plus covers, b&w photos, published by Harrison, Jehring & Co., Ltd. (UK).
The foreword in this magazine-size WORLD WAR I propaganda brochure indicates that the war was still in progress at the time the brochure was published. The majority of the text is in the foreword, the balance being used to describe the activities depicted in the 45 black and white photos inside the brochure, which describe the activities of the various branches of the British Army Labour Battalions during World War I.  A very unique look at how the war was portrayed to a civilian audience, during a period when the war was still in the balance.
