driver that needs some work - but alot of work has already been
done to it in the last few yrs w/ receipts to back it up.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
When is the last time you even saw a 1st Gen CRX on
the road ? yet an HF model.  Most of these cars have been
crushed, wrecked or trashed. This one has just been a fun
daily driver, and driven well. Some recent repairs under the hood
and on the suspension.  I drove this car on the freeway a few weeks
ago about 25 miles and it did really well. Kinda like you would expect
for an 87  30 yr old plus Honda.
This Az car is very solid as 99% of our vehicles are, even
older then this ! :)
Az still has been very good to the 30+ yr old sheetmetal.
Factory 1.5L under the hood / 5 spd trans and more.
Original color was Blue Exterior.

DRIVETRAIN:
under the hood looks to be the original 1.5L
4 cyl engine matted to the original 5 spd manual trans.
It starts and runs well. Over the last few yrs its had a new head
gasket / timing belt and a few other related items installed.
Last summer while driving in traffic and ran hot on the gauge.
So it was taken off the road for everyday in town use a few
months ago till the E fan could be figured out. As far as driving
it on longer trips with no traffic, and on the freeway, it runs
just fine and the temp gauge. Trans feels great, clutch feels
good too, it may need some adjustment. But it grabs fine. No
idea how old the clutch is honestly. Its a factory in dash AC
CRX but the compressor and lines where removed a few yrs
ago and are gone. The exhaust under neath not in bad shape
and sounds fine.
INTERIOR:
take a look at pics, its complete, but
dry and showing its age. I think with new carpet and
re-doing the front seats alone would make the car
much nicer. It would still need some work after that but
would be a good start. The plastics around the back hatch
area showing its age, but very restorable. Center console
in nice shape too. Didnt see any cracks in the dash either.
Instrument cluster shows very well for its age. I believe
all the gauges are still working too. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO !
Since we made the video, we bought some cheap blue interior
carpet from a local upholstery shop and made some quick
front floormats and a rear cargo area mat. Looks good in the
pics !!  and in person...it helps cover the worn floors.
The interior will need lots of resto as you can see.
Doors open and shut fine. Glass is good sides and rear while
I did see a small crack in the front windshield in a corner.

EXTERIOR:
you are looking at a really old repaint  from
Blue to White. And its not aged well. Still has the original
plastic front fenders too. Hatch struts are not working, but
present. Window tint is old and not good. Strip all that off and
it would look much cleaner and original too. Headlights work
well and did notice one of the rear taillights look to be dirty
inside maybe, and darker then the other.
Very straight body for its 30+ yr old age..
SUSPENSION:
the suspension looks pretty solid and
Complete. Mostly all original and stock, but the front end
does have some new bushings installed in the last yr.
I have receipts for whats new. So steering feels actually
pretty tight and response for its age and era. Brakes feel
good and work well. Check out those steel wheels. They
are actually part of the original HF package and are lighter
then your avg stock steel Honda rim.
Tires are almost brand new and in great shape.

Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
